How can you eat healthfully and still have food that tastes good? Chef-Instructor Liz Briggs, who has extensive experience in teaching and studying food and food science, has the answers. Whether you need to eat a low-fat diet, are struggling with food allergies, or just want to learn how to eat better, this course will help you get the most out of the foods you can have. You'll learn how to avoid so-called "diet" foods that are heavy on salt and chemicals and low on taste, and discover how flavor development and good nutrition can go hand in hand. Plus, Chef Briggs will contact you after you register for the course to understand your individual dietary requirements and restrictions. She'll then consult with a nutritionist to determine what you will be cooking during class. In no time at all, you'll be eating for life and living it to the fullest!
