Mark Fortanale
Mark Fornatale, Italian Portfolio Manager for Michael Skurnik Wines, began his career in the wine business by writing about wine and food for Playboy.com while residing abroad in Perugia, Italy. In 2001, Mark eventually moved back home to New York City to head up Morrell & Company’s Italian division. In 2004, in order to promote the small artisanal producers whose wines he loves so much, Mark moved into the import and wholesale side of the business with Michael Skurnik Wines, an importer of the finest estate bottled wines from across the world. Mark speaks fluent Italian, travels to Italy several times per year, and is as passionate about music & food as he is wine.
